An Introduction to InnerTalk
InnerTalk mind-training technology is easy to use, easy to obtain,
does not require conscious effort on the part of the user , does
not usually require specific time (because most people play these
CDs while doing something else such as working, driving, sleeping,
watching television, or reading).
Most importantly: InnertTalk
mind-training technology has been thoroughly developed, tested,
and shown to be effective.
How are InnerTalk CDs used ?
InnerTalk CDs can generally* be used in the same way as
other audio CDs.
That is, they can be inserted into and CD player (including the
CD playing facilities in most modern computers), and played in
the usual way. When the CD is played, either "Natural Sounds"
or "Music" is heard - there is only one track per CD
so it is essential to choose either "Music" or "Natural Sounds"
at the time of ordering the CD. The volume may be turned down
to a very low level, e.g. just audible, without in any way reducing
the effectiveness of the CD.
In addition to hearing the CD played
at any volume - loud or very quiet - for ideally at leas one
hour per day, it is also recommended to read the affirmations
printed on the card inside the CD cover. The exact number of
affirmations varies with the title of the CD but it does not
take long to read all of them each day, or at least a couple
of times per week. It is not necessary to read them aloud; reading
silently is also effective.
(* The exceptions are that "relaxation" CDs designed
to induce sleep, rest, relaxation, or similar should never be
used while driving or operating machinery. In the cases of these
titles, the CDs should only be used on calm relaxing situations
in which no-one present is responsible for tasks that may require
alert mental faculties and/or fast reactions.)

Research Studies:
Many people - especially scientists, physicians, and those who
need to thoroughly justify their purchases in order to obtain
necessary
funding - ask about the research, studies, evaluation, trials,
and double-blind testing done to establish the effectiveness
of InnerTalk technology and/or specific titles. This is an
important question - to which no positive and highly informative
answer
could be a short one !
This mind-training technology
has benefited from considerable detailed scientific research and evaluation.
Some of the studies that have contributed to this are listed
on the Research page of this website.
This makes is interesting reading, as are the studies themselves.
It is also worth remembering that while research studies
are invaluable to scientists working in the same field and
interested in extending human knowledge (no simply repeating the
same experiments
that others have done before them, rather than learning from
and extending beyond previous work), most people do not have
time to thoroughly understand how everything works before trying/using
it. For example, anyone who insisted on fully understanding
exactly a car works before learning to drive would spend a very
long time reading and studying before ever getting the benefits
of convenient, independent, travel by car. The same can be said
for the benefits of taking healthy exercise, vitamins, and so on:
Don't disadvantage yourself by making a need to "see evidence"
an excuse for not trying InnerTalk mind-training technology
and so experiencing your own "evidence" ! ...
By
all means read, research, and study first - but that is never a
good substitute for your own experience.
